Seth Rollins made his first debut in 2005 , wrestling in an Independent Curcuit taking the ring name as GIXX, later he joined Ian Rotten's Independent Wrestling Association (IWA) mid south, under the ring name as TYLER BLACK
and had participated in the Ted Petty Invitational Tournament
Then after sometime he soon joined the National Wrestling Alliance Midwest (NWA) and won his first tag team championship with Marek Brave. Later they defended the NWA Midwest tag team championship against Ryan Boz and Danny Daniels. Seth Rollins (Tyler Black) has also appeared once in TNA (Total Non-stop Action Wrestling) and team up with Jeff Luxon against the Latin American Xchange (Hernandez and Homicide) in October 2006. Tyler Black and Jeff Luxon fought overwhelming all the fans, but they have to face loss that night
On 25th of May 2007 in Melbourne, Florida, Black and Marek Brave faced against the (FIP) Full Impact Pro Tag-team champions, The Briscoe Brothers (Jay and Mark Briscoe). During the match Tyler's tag team partner Marek Brave got a legitimate back injury, which led Tyler to persue a singles career. He made his singles career debut by competing in Pro Wrestling Guerrilla (PWG) where he defeated Joey Ryan on June 10.
THE AGE OF FALL: (2007 -2009)
At september 2007,Black made his debut, along Jimmy Jacobs and Necro Butcher. The three debuted in ROH(Ring Of Honour) at the same time in a pay-per view "Tapping of Man up". They started up with attacking The Briscoe brothers. They hung Jay Briscoe on the light rigging and fashioned as a noose. The match was so brutal and controversial that ROH decided to remove the tapped pay-per view of that event. Black later made his ROH debut in the following night in a dark match by wrestling against Jack Evans
